Ingredient list: 1. Frozen mangoes 2. Flax seed 3. Chia seeds 4. Cinnamon 5. Turmeric 6. Cardamon 7. Plain greek yogurt 8. Almond milk 9. Spinach
Supplies needed: 1. Measuring spoons 2. Blender 3. Ice
Start with a big handful of ice in your blender. Toss in a handful of frozen mangoes. These two parts will serve as the chilly part of the smoothie base.
Measure 1 tablespoon of flax seeds and one tablespoon of chia seeds into the blender. You can put them in a food processor first or let them soak in water overnight, but they are also good how they come.
Layer on a handful of spinach to give your smoothie an extra kick of greens. Don’t worry though, you can barely even taste it!
Measure in one cup of unsweetened almond milk and a half cup of plain greek yogurt. This makes it nice and creamy and easy to drink!
Finally sprinkle on your cinnamon, cardamom, and turmeric. Some of these spices can be potent, so add as much or as little as you see fit!
Blend, pulse, puree, or whatever other setting you need to put it on to whip it all together.
Serve in a tall glass, and use a silicone smoothie straw for easy drinking! The straw linked here is an all time favorite.
